Orleans Bowling centre is holding its knockout tournament
in the summer of 2009 again it will be a total of 11 weeks
starting on thursday june 4th. The cost will be $20.00 per night with a guarantee of 3 games. Each game your position and lane will be determined by draw out of a hat the averages of the 2008-2009 bowling season will be used the first night of play if player does not have a 2008-2009 average 200 will be given for men and an average of 175 will be given for women. A 80% handicap will be used for players opponents (example- you have an average of 180 and opponent has 210 difference will be 24 pins 210-180= 30- 20% = 24). cash prizes given to the winner of each night 1st place - 50% of pot
2nd place - 30% of pot
3rd place- 20% of pot

The 2nd order of 100th Anniversary golf shirts have been received and are being distributed to the leagues. It may be possible to still request shirts; we will put an order in once we get 12 requests. The Provincial Triples Tournament was bowled on March 8th. There were 25 teams competing with the winning team coming from the Orléans Area Mixed Bowling League The Winners included: Dan Gervais, Vicki Baron and Jean Marc Baron.
Dan qualified for his second provincial final this year. Good luck in May. There are still two 100th anniversary pins still for sale at $ 3. These pins are available from your nightly representative. Our current executive:
